Clean water for every child
It sounds obvious, but everyone has the right to clean drinking water. This is a basic necessity for good health and therefore the chance of a future. Despite this, 1.1 billion people around the world do not have access to clean water.
The Max Foundation
The Max Foundation seeks to prevent child mortality with small-scale water projects in Bangladesh. Micro-sanitation, the combination of providing clean water, latrines, and education is the most effective and efficient way to fight simple but lethal diseases like diarrhea and give children a future. The Max Foundation provides micro-sanitation in Bangladesh together with the local community.
The Dutch overhead costs are paid by the management team themselves. So every Euro we receive goes to the water projects. To show you how we truly invest your donation into digging water wells we provide you with a photo of the well that you sponsored.
Our 3 principles are:
- Invest all donations where it can have the maximum effect.
- No overheads as we cover these ourselves.
- Provide direct feedback on donations (photo’s).
